Older Adult Behaviour Stabilization Unit
Providence Health Care is looking for experienced nurses to provide intensive person-centered dementia care to older adults (65 years and up) with serious dementia resulting in psychiatric symptoms and challenging behaviours.
Nurses work in an interdisciplinary team, providing education and support for clients and families. Located in central Vancouver, BC, within the Youville Residence, the 37-bed facility is epstimated to open October/November 2011. Staffing is currently underway.
We are looking for Operating Room Nurses to qualify you must hold post-basic Operating Room education and 3 - 5 years recent experience in the operating room with both scrub and circulating experience. The applicant must be registered or able to be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. As well as have completed a Basic Cardiac Life Support Course, Level C.
To qualify you must hold a post graduate critical care course or two years' recent experience in an equivalent setting. The applicant must be registered or able to be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. As well as have completed a Basic Cardiac Life Support Course, Level C.
